Wirra Wirra is an aboriginal name meaning “amongst the gum tree”. First established in 1894, Wirra Wirra has developed a strong following for intense, beautifully crafted red wines and expressive whites, forging an enviable reputation as one of Australia’s most recognisable and leading wineries. Situated 3.7km from the township of McLaren Vale and 45 minutes by car from Adelaide, Wirra Wirra enjoys a Mediterranean climate. Currently, Paul Smith and Paul Carpenter are task to continue Wirra Wirra legacy, as winemakers.
